Russell G. Evans focuses his practice on estate planning and personal bankruptcy, bringing more than 25 years of experience to his clients. He has practiced law since 1995 and has represented individuals in bankruptcy matters since 2003. Russell’s enduring commitment to helping people navigate financial difficulty is what has kept him devoted to bankruptcy work throughout most of his career. In addition, he has extensive experience in estate planning and has prepared hundreds of customized estate plans for individuals and families.
Russell has twice served on the Bankruptcy Local Rules Committee and has been an active member of the Utah Bankruptcy Lawyers Forum. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Spanish Translation and Interpretation from Brigham Young University in 1992 and his Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School in 1995.
Outside of his legal practice, Russell is a father to four adult children and a proud grandfather of five. He is married to Jason Randall, and together they share their home with two dogs. Russell enjoys gardening, e‑biking, traveling, and music.
